ANBAR / Aswat al-Iraq: The house of the chairman of the local council in Anbar province was exploded by unknown gunmen, a police source said on Sunday.

 

“An armed group detonated a number of improvised explosive devices around the house of Shaker Ismail al-Kabiesi in western Anbar, destroying the house completely,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

 

“The explosion left no casualties, as the family was not there,” he added, without giving further details.
