KIRKUK / Aswat al-Iraq: A joint force captured today nine people, mostly wanted for terrorist charges, in south west Kirkuk, according to police sources.
 
The source told Aswat al-Iraq that vehicles, documents and training yard were also discovered during the security raid.
 
The operation took place in Haweeja area, 65 km south west Kirkuk.
 
Among the arrested were six wanted for terrorist activities and murder, while the other three were suspects, the source added.
 
Kirkuk, center of the province, lies 280 km north east the capital, Baghdad.
 
It is one of the disputed areas between Baghdad and Arbil that witnesses continued violent actions against the military and civilians, alike.
