BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: Deputy Premier Saleh al-Mutlaq called for the resignation of the Iraqi government and conducting early election, provided that a transitional government should prepare coming election.

 

 

In an Arabia TV station interview, he called that the present government should not nominate itself in the coming elections.

 

 

He added that he "will not retreat from his earlier description of Premier Nouri al-Maliki as a dictator".

 

 

Mutlaq described Iraqi judicial system as "not honest in some of its departments".

 

 

His office announced last week stated that Mutlaq was "subject to an assassination attempt, by firing against his convoy with live bullets".
