Iraq suspends executing 7 Algerians - newspaper

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: An Algerian jurist disclosed that the "Algerian fears that Iraq will execute Algerian prisoners in Iraq has been gone," in reference to the Iraqi government's promise not to implement any death verdict against them for terrorist actions with Qaeda organization.
 
 
Head of Algerian Consultative Commission for Human Rights Farouq Qustantini said to Saudi Al-Sharq al-Awsat daily that "the situation returned to normal thanks to Algerian diplomacy".
 
 
The paper reported that an Algerian called Abdulla Belhadi, was executed on 9 October, 2012 for attacking Iraqi Interior Ministry, in addition to 10 who were charged with terrorism.
