BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: Iranian government spokesman said today that Iran will fight with Turkey against the PKK party.

The statement is to deny news that Iran will support anti-Turkish PKK party.

The PKK party is fighting the Turkish government since 1980s demanding the national rights for the Kurdish people in Turkey.

Iranian foreign ministry spokesman Ramin, in a press conference in Ankara, said that "both Iran and Turkey are facing terrorist groups, like the PKK, and are coordinating efforts to counter terrorism".
