National alliance delegation quits conference – Iraqiya
4/3/2012 10:38 PM

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The delegation of the National Alliance walked out of the meeting of the preparatory committee for the national conference in session on Tuesday and announced withdrawal from all previous agreements, according to a source from al-Iraqiya bloc.

“Al-Iraqiya and the Kurdistan Alliance, however, agreed on the need to implement all items of the Arabi accord,” the source, who asked that his name will not be mentioned, told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

He added that the National Alliance bloc has asked for a consultative meeting to reply to all demands, noting the meeting is still going on though.

The preparatory committee had started Tuesday at the house of Vice President Khudeir al-Khuza’ie in the presence of representatives of all blocs.
