BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: At least 25 persons were killed and 30 others were wounded on Tuesday in a car bomb explosion in northern Baghdad, a police source said.

 

 

"A car crammed with explosives went off in a garage in al-Taji region, northern Baghdad, killing 26 and wounding 30," the source, who asked to remain anonymous, told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

 

 

"Security forces cordoned off the whole region and carried victims to nearby hospitals," he added.
