WASSIT / Aswat al-Iraq: Serbian ambassador to Baghdad Radisav Petrovich expressed his country's desire to invest in Iraq, in general, and Wassit province, in particular.

 

In a press conference, held in Kut city, Ambassador Petrovich disclosed that a cooperation agreement shall be signed shortly between the two countries.

 

He added that an invitation was extended to Wassit local government to visit Serbia to have knowledge with the latest industrial and agricultural developments.

 

Ambassador added that his government intends to lift up the visa for Iraqis.

 

Kut, center of the province, lies 180 km south east of the province, Baghdad.
