KIRKUK / Aswat al-Iraq: Security forces arrested 30 wanted men in a security operation launched in the wee small hours of the morning in the city of Kirkuk, a security source said.

 

“A joint force of Kirkuk Districts Police Department (KDPD) and Emergency police launched on early Saturday a searching operation in southwestern Kirkuk, where they arrested 30 wanted men,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

 

“The operation started from the dawn until 9 AM,” he added.

 

Kirkuk lies 280 km northeast of Baghdad.
