KARBALA/ Aswat al-Iraq: Representative of Shiite renowned clergyman Zayid Ali al-Sistani warned against ideas to divide Iraq, calling political entities to review their ideas.

Representative Ahmed al-Safi said, in today's Friday prayers, followed up by Aswat al-Iraq, that the crises engulfing Iraq obliges politicians to stress the unity of the country and get rid of the division ideas.

He called the politician to consider the previous events as an opportunity to review their thoughts and deal logically with interests of the country, pointing to the parliament to work responsibly with the volume of this crisis.

Safi criticized the inability to counter terrorism in Iraqi provinces, calling to have drastic solutions to check this wave that will lead the country to "unknown destinations".

On the other hand, he criticized foreign interventions to support some political entities.
