BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: National Alliance Chairman's office announced that a legal agreement was reached to pay the charges of the foreign oil companies contracting with the Kurdish region.

In a statement, copy received by Aswat al-Iraq, Ibrahim al-Jaffari chaired a meeting between the National Alliance and the Kurdish Alliance, with the attendance of Iraqi oil minister Abdul Kareem Laibi, to solve the issues related to the companies contracted with the Kurdish region and the federal government.

It added that both sides agreed on a legal form for payment from the extra income of the central government, provided that the Kurdish region will export produced oil quantities without stoppage.
