Swedish companies interested in investment in Karbala

KARBALA/ Aswat al-Iraq: Swedish companies expressed desire to invest in housing, health and infrastructure projects in the province, Investment Supervision committee chairman announced here today.
 
 
Zuhair Kadhim al-Kiraiti told Aswat al-Iraq that a Swedish delegation, comprising of a number of companies, completed its visit to the province.
 
 
The delegation acquainted itself with the security situation here to prove the companies' ability to work in the province.
 
 
Kiraiti confirmed that the Swedish companies are able to work here for its neutrality.
 
 
He added that the companies expressed interest in implementing housing, tourist, medical and infrastructure projects, such as roads and bridges.
 
 
Karbala, center of the province, lies 108 km south west the capital, Baghdad.
