 Khuza'i denies refraining endorsement of death punishments

BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: Vice-President Khudhair al-Khuza'i denied refraining the endorsement of death penalties against "the terrorists", as reported by his office here today.

In a statement, the office denied media reports these news.

President Jalal Talabani authorized Khuza'i with endorsing death sentences, because he signed an international bill against executions.

International and local circles, including the UN, the European Union, Arab countries and organizations, the increase in execution levels in Iraq during the last few months, while some Iraqi circles believe that there are "delay in implementing death executions against terrorists".
