Railways designs cost about 2 billion dollars in Arbil
ARBIL/ Aswat al-Iraq: Italian FG Technopolo Company announced today submitting the first presentation of the study and the designs for a railway station with a cost of 1.75 billion dollars for Arbil city.
The project will, also, include Sulaimaniya and Duhuk cities, as reported by the company in the presentation ceremony today.
Arbil governor Nozad Hadi announced that the project shall be referred to Kurdistan government, either to finance it or to put it for international investment.
The aim of the project is to ease the traffic congestions in the city, as well as a sign of civilized city.
Kurdistan economic relations with Italy were developed that led to opening a consulate in Arbil last year, as well as the Iraqi-Italian Economic Forum here with the participation of 40 Italian companies.
Official sources said that trade exchange between the two countries reached to 650 million dollars, pointing that about 600 Italian companies are working in Iraq.
