BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: A police brigadier was seriously wounded on Monday when a sticky bomb exploded in western Baghdad, a police source said.
"A bomb, stuck to the private car of Brigadier Duried Abduljabar, went off in al-Nussour square in western Baghdad, wounding him," the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
"The man was carried to a nearby hospital for treatment," he added, noting that he is in critical condition.
