2 blasts leave 6 casualties in Baghdad

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: One soldier was killed and five more were wounded in two explosions in southwestern Baghdad, a security source said on Saturday.
 
“Two bombs exploded this morning targeting an army vehicle patrol in Arab Jubur region, southwestern Baghdad, killing a soldier and injuring five,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
 
“The blasts damaged the military vehicles,” he added.
 
Baghdad and other provinces witnessed a series of explosions in the past few days, during which scores of people were killed or wounded.
