KIRKUK/ Aswat al-Iraq: Security sources said here today that a pro-government Sahwa (Awakening) member was hit by a sticky bomb in his car south west Kirkuk.
The source told Aswat al-Iraq that the explosion took place in Riyadh area, 40 km south west Kirkuk.
Kirkuk, center of the province, lies 280 km north of the capital.
It is populated by Arabs, Kurds, Turkmen, Christians and Subbis, which is one of the main disputed areas between Baghdad and Arbil, that witnesses continued violent actions against the military and civilians, alike.
