Iraq rejects deported Iraqis not having official documents
BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: Ministry of Migrants and Displaced disclosed that Iraq decided not to receive deported Iraqis who do not have their passports or lessee passes.
Minister Dindar Dousky announced that the Higher Migration Commission decided not to permit Iraqi deportees from the European Union to enter Baghdad International Airport without having official documents.
He added that this procedure is to minimize Iraqi requests for immigration to the European Union or threatening them to return home.
The Ministry disclosed last September that the Swedish authorities rejected more than 6000 Iraqi requests.
Iraqi government supports voluntary return of Iraqi immigrants from Arab and foreign companies.
