Deputy premier urges Swedish companies to expand projects in Iraq

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Deputy Prime Minister Saleh al-Mutlaq on Wednesday called on Swedish companies to expand their activies in economic and technical sectors.


This came during his meeting with Swedish ambassador in Baghdad and his accompanying delegation.

 
"The meeting tackled ways of boosting bilateral relations between Baghdad and Stockholm in services, agricultural and scientific fields," a statement from al-Mutlaq's office said.

 
"The deputy premier discussed also with the Swedish diplomat the Iraqi refugees' file in Sweden and the importance of using their presence in the country to boost friendly relations between the two peoples."
