ANBAR / Aswat al-Iraq: A policeman was killed when gunmen attacked him with silenced guns in central Falluja, a police source said on Monday.

 

 

"An armed group attacked a policeman in a popular marketplace in al-Andalus neighborhood, central Falluja, using silenced guns, killing him instantly," the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

 

 

"Security forces cordoned off the whole region and started to track down the attackers," he added.

 

 

Falluja is 60 km west of Ramadi, the capital of Anbar, which lies 110 km west of Baghdad.
