BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: Security sources said here today that two Karbala visitors were killed and three wounded in two separate incidents in north and south Baghdad.

The source told Aswat al-Iraq that unknown gunmen opened fire in north Baghdad on a group of Karbala visitors, which led to the killing of two.

The source added that a bomb exploded on the side of the road, south east Baghdad, that led to wounding three and material losses in neighboring shops.

Hundreds thousands of visitors are pouring into Karbala province to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussein.
