KIRKUK/ Aswat al-Iraq: A rocket was launched yesterday night against military division 12, but no damages were reported.

Division 12 sources told Aswat al-Iraq that the rocket fell on the command of the division, 15 km west of Kirkuk, with no casualties.

The source added that the army arrived at the launch site and found a soldier, who was immediately arrested.

No other details were given.

On the other hand, police sources said that 11 rockets were dismantled and four suspects were detained.

Kirkuk lies 280 km north east of the capital, Baghdad.

It is one of the disputed areas between Baghdad and Arbil, that witnesses continued terrorist attacks against the security forces and the civilians, alike.
