ANBAR / Aswat al-Iraq: At least two civilians were killed and three were wounded in a car bomb explosion in central Ramadi, a police source said.
"A car bomb exploded targeting a police vehicle patrol in al-Mustawdaa street, central Ramadi, killing two civilians and seriously injuring three, who were carried to a nearby hospital for treatment," the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
"Security forces cordoned off the whole region and prevented people from approaching the site," he added.
Ramadi, the capital of Anbar, lies 110 km west of Baghdad.
