ANBAR/ Aswat al-Iraq: Police sources said here today that one woman was killed and two civilians wounded in an explosion directed against an army Captain, east of Ramadi.

The source told Aswat al-Iraq that an armed group used a number of explosive to detonate an army Captain residence, 36 km east of Ramadi city that led the killing of the woman and wounding two of the officer's family.

The source added that the explosion resulted in heavy losses in officer's house, who was not at home at that time.

No other details were given.

Ramadi, center of the province, lies 110 km west of the capital, Baghdad.
