2/23/2013 3:29 PM

BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: Iraqi parliament postponed today's session to discuss the national budget till next Monday due to the differences among the political blocs.

In breaking news by semi-official TV station, the parliament postponed the session for differences on the sections of the general budget.

Earlier, close sources said to Aswat al-Iraq that "no agreement was reached with the Kurdish bloc on oil settlements within 2013 budget".

Consultations were held with the heads of parliamentary political blocs, but no agreement was reached, according to the source.

Today's voting did not reach its limits because 85 votes were for the endorsement of the budget, out of 231 MPs.

The Cabinet approved the general budget with the amount of 138 trillion Iraqi dinars.
