SALAH AL-DIN / Aswat al-Iraq: A University professor was killed on Wednesday by a sticky bomb explosion in north of Tikrit, according to a security source.

"A bomb stuck to the vehicle of Dr.
Sabah Bahaa al-Din from the Faculty of Agriculture of the Tikrit University, went off while leaving the university in north of the Tikrit," the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

Tikrit lies 175 km north of Baghdad.
