Attempt to internationalize Fallujah demonstrators' case

ANBAR/ Aswat al-Iraq: Anbar Provincial Council's member disclosed today that "an attempt to internationalize the demonstrators' case" due to "governmental delays".

The member, Faris Taha al-Faris, told Aswat al-Iraq that the demonstrators do not believe in the transparency of the Iraqi courts.

He added that Premier Nouri al-Maliki's government did not fulfill its promises to the Iraqi people, particularly the constitutional and legal demands.

Faris continued that Anbar tribal sheikhs and elder people decided to internationalize the case at the Haig and other specialized courts around the world.
