BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: An employee of the trade ministry was wounded on Thursday by gunmen in northeastern Baghdad, according to a security source.
“Unknown gunmen opened fire on a trade ministry’s employee in al-Bunouk region, northeastern Baghdad, while heading to his work,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“The man was seriously wounded and was carried to a nearby hospital for treatment, while police opened an investigation into the incident.”
