BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Iraq has called on Bulgaria to boost agricultural cooperation and increase their investments in this sector.
This came during a meeting between Agriculture Minister Abdullah al-Dawla and his Bulgarian counterpart in Sofia, according to a ministerial statement.
"The minister expressed Iraq's keenness to have best relations with all countries, mainly Bulgaria, which is a developed country in this sector," the statement added.
The minister underlined that his ministry needs to transfer technology from Bulgaria and organize training sessions.
He encouraged Bulgaria companies to invest in Iraq in various agricultural fields.
