BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: Chairman of the Iraqi National Alliance Ibrahim al-Jaffari discussed today with the US ambassador Stephen Beecroft means to contain the current crisis and the results of the discussions of political components.

In a statement by his office, Jaffari disclosed that the National Forum will hold its third meeting to discuss views presented by the National Alliance for the amendments to be taken on General Amnesty and Questioning and Justice Laws, as well as Article 4 of terrorism.

Jaffari confirmed that "the crisis could be solved in the light of seriousness and cooperation of all components".

Since 22 December 2012, Anbar province witnessed massive demonstrations and sit-in, in addition to Ninewa, Salahal-Din, Diala, Kirkuk and Baghdad demanding the release of innocent detainees and prisoners, while others called for toppling Maliki's government.
