Iraq, Indonesia to cooperate in industrial field
11/5/2012 12:17 PM

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Iraq's industry minister on Friday welcomed Indonesian companies' investments in Iraq, hoping to sign contracts with them in the industrial field.

This came during the meeting held between Industry Minister Ahmad Nasser al-Karbouli and Indonesian Ambassador in Baghdad and his accompanying delegation.

"The minister voiced support to the Indonesian companies' investments in Iraq, mainly in food and complementary industries, like woods and tires," said a ministerial statement received by Aswat al-Iraq news agency, noting that Iraq is considered a promising market for these products.

The Ambassador spoke about his country's capabilities in building food factories and concrete columns.
