BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: National Investment Commission announced that an agreement for strategic cooperation with South Korean Development Establishment for Trade and Investment (KOTRA) to increase the volume of investments and trade exchange.
The South Korean side pledged to finalize Basmaya housing complex as "a representation of Korean image in Iraq".
Basmaya housing complex is expected to have 100.000 housing units, while another agreement with South Korean and US companies to build 200.000 housing units in Baghdad and Basra.
The Commission, in a statement today, added that the agreement was signed in Seoul.
