BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: Ministry of Transport announced today the resumption of Iraqi Airways flights to Kuwait next Wednesday.
This is the first step to resume flights between the two countries after a 22-year cut-off.
Kuwaiti Airways demanded 1.2 billion dollars in compensation from Iraq, but the question was solved with the amount of 500 million dollars, during Premier Nouri al-Maliki's visit to Kuwait.
