South Korea desires arming Iraqi forces

BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: South Korea disclosed today its desire to supply Iraq with arms equipment and developing economic relations.

According to South Korean Yonhap news agency, letters in this regard were sent to Iraqi president and premier.

The news pointed out that South Korean President Lee Myung Bak sent a written letter for cooperation in defence industry.

South Korean president sent a special envoy on 22-25 January, 2013 to discuss these matters.
