BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshiar Zebari received on Thursday Sattam Jadaan al-Dandah the new Syrian Ambassador in Baghdad and received a copy of his credentials, according to a statement from the foreign ministry.

 

During the meeting, they discussed relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples, in addition to the developments of the Syrian crisis .

 

The Minister stressed the ministry's readiness to provide assistance and support for the success of the Ambassador's mission in Iraq.

 

The meeting was attended by the Ministry's Undersecretary for Policy Planning , Head of the Arab Department and the Acting Head of the Protocol Department.
