SULAIMANIYA / Aswat al-Iraq: A former candidate of the Kurdistan's al-Taaghier bloc was wounded in a sticky bomb blast in central Sulaimaniya, according to a security source.
"A bomb attached to the vehicle of Yousef al-Jalabi in central Sulaimaniya, wounding him," the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
"Police opened an investigation into the incident," he added, without giving further details.
The relatively-safe Sulaimaniya is located 364 km northeast of Baghdad.
