ARBIL/ Aswat al-Iraq: Kurdish region president Masoud Barzani stated, in his Face book site, that he will sacrifice his life for the Kurdish flag.

On his Face book site, on the Kurdish Flag Day, he confirmed that this day characterized the formation the first Kurdish republic in Iranian Mahabad city in 1946.

"I was born under this flag and will be always a member of the Peshmarga forces", he confirmed.

He called for celebrations in this day, where official and popular celebrations were held today.

The celebrations come amid the conflicts between Baghdad and Arbil on different old and new issues lately was the formation of Dijla Operations Command.

Attempts for different parties to dismantle the crises were made.

Kurdish Mahabad Republic was formed in 1946, but fell down after 11 months where its leader Judge Mohammed was executed on 31 March, 1947 in a public square.
