6 Asayish forces killed in Kirkuk

KIRKUK/ Aswat al-Iraq: 6 of Kurdish Asayish (security) forces were killed and two wounded in a motorcycle blast in Touz area, south Kirkuk.

Director of Asayish forces here told Aswat al-Iraq that the bombed motorcycle exploded on an Asayish patrol of the Kurdish Democratic Party, 80 km south Kirkuk that led to 6 killings, including a lieutenant and wounded two.

The explosion took place when the people contacted on the presence of a bomb in the area, but when the forces arrived, the motorcycle exploded, the source added.

Investigations were made, but no other details were given.
