WASSIT / Aswat al-Iraq: Authorities in the province of Wassit announced on Thursday their readiness to launch 300 projects as part of the 2013 plan.

 

"The cost of the projects will reach 278 billion dinars as part of the 2013 budget," Wassit's Governor Mahdi al-Zubaidi told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

 

"The projects include health, education, building, bridges, water, sewage and electricity fields," he added.

 

"Iraqi, Arab and foreign companies will implement these projects," the governor continued.

 

Kut, the capital of Wassit, lies 180 km southeast of Baghdad.
