BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Two policemen were killed and five were wounded in an armed attack on a checkpoint in western Baghdad, a police source said on Thursday.

 

 

"An armed group attacked a checkpoint in al-Rabiaa street in al-Jameaa neighborhood, western Baghdad, killing two policemen and injuring five," the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

 

 

He gave no further details.
