DIALA / Aswat al-Iraq: One civilian was killed and three more were wounded in a car bomb explosion in south of Baaquba, local police chief said on Saturday.
“A car rigged with explosives went off this morning on main bridge in Kanaan district, south of Baaquba, killing a civilian and injuring three,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
He did not give more details.
Baaquba, the capital of Diala, lies 57 km northeast of Baghdad.
