ANBAR / Aswat al-Iraq: Police sources said here today that 35 Qaeda members were arrested in a pre-emptive strike by police and emergency forces.

 

The source told Aswat al-Iraq that some of the arrested were leading members in the organization.

 

The arrested were indulged in terrorist attacks against the civilians and armed forces, which were planning for new strikes, the source added.

 

Ramadi, center of Anbar province, lies 110 km west of the capital, Baghdad.
