ANBAR/ Aswat al-Iraq: Fallujah sit-in organizer disclosed the failure of negotiations with ex-deputy premier Salam al-Zoba'i "for not having adequate legal and legislative authorities, but represents himself".
Sheikh Khalid Hmoud al-Jumaily told Aswat al-Iraq that "Zoba'i's delegation greatly failed in his negotiations with the demonstrators".
He added that a number of officials, like deputy premier Saleh al-Mutlaq and other mediators sent by Premier Nouri al-Maliki, tried to negotiate, but they were representing themselves.
"Those who met Baghdad delegations do not represent the views of the demonstrators, but we need implementing our demands before mediation delegations, because we will not leave our place, either to be killed or imprisoned", he confirmed.
Since 22 December 2012, Anbar province witnessed massive demonstrations and sit-in, in addition to Ninewa, Salahal-Din, Diala, Kirkuk and Baghdad demanding the release of innocent detainees and prisoners, while others called for toppling Maliki's government.
Ramadi, center of the province, lies 110 km west of the capital, Baghdad.
