Mutlaq's case to be solved politically by the three presidencies, MP

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq : Member of the Preparatory National Conference Committee disclosed today that "Deputy Premier Saleh al-Mutlaq question shall be refered to the three presidencies for a poltiical solution", pointing that  the two working papers of Iraqiya and National Alliance blocs were unified, which contained most of Arbil agreement items.

Iraqiya MP Ahmed al-Masari told Aswat al-Iraq that Mutlaq's case is political, not judicial.

He added that the two working papers of Iraqiya and National Alliance blocs were unified containing most of Arbil agreement items.

As for Vice-president Tariq al-Hashimi's case, he added that "it is the most differential point, where Iraqiya believes that some part of it is political and the other is judicial".

Iraq witnessed great political dilemma following the "terrorism" charges against Hashimi and the move to demote al-Mutlaq from his post, both are leading members of Iraqiya bloc.

Other differences between Iraqiya and State of Law blocs are concentrated on the nominations for secuity posts, that led to the withdrawal of Iraqiya bloc from the parliament and government, but later returned after about two months of division in the Iraqi political scene.

In order to find suitable solutions, President Jalal Talabani proposed convening a national conference to all parties to find a way out of this crisis, which is expected to be convened soon.
