ARBIL / Aswat al-Iraq: The first French research center was opened in Arbil today.

 

 

The Center's director Dr.
Hashim Dawood told Aswat al-Iraq that the opening of the center in Iraq is a new sign in Iraqi academic life, which is the first research center to be opened in the country.

 

 

He hoped to open another one in Baghdad.

 

 

The center will rehabilitate one of heritage houses according to UNESCO's specifications.

 

 

It shall be a coordination center between Iraqi and European researchers for middle and modern ages.
