BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Foreign Minister Hoshiar Zebari discussed with Saudi Ambassador to Baghdad Fahad Abdul Muhsin Al-Zaid questions related to exchange of mutual prisoners, as well as the recent executions in Saudi Arabia.

 

 

In a statement by the ministry, copy received by Aswat al-Iraq, both sides discussed the importance of normalizing bilateral relations, the prisoners' questions and the agreement on exchanging detainees and prisoners' agreement.

 

 

Both sides stressed the importance of ratification of the agreement to achieve a mechanism for joint action and cooperation.

 

 

On the economic level, both sides discussed economic, trade and investment relations and the need to open border vents to enhance trade and transport activities for both sides.
