2 gunmen killed in shootout with army soldiers in Mosul

NINEWA / Aswat al-Iraq: Two gunmen were killed and a child in their company injured in an exchange of fire with an army force in the eastern part of the troubled city of Mosul, a security source in Ninewa said on Monday.
“The gunfight erupted in the area of al-Rifaq, eastern Mosul, leaving two gunmen killed and a child in their company seriously wounded,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“The child was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment,” he said, adding security forces are investigating the incident.
