BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Head of the Election Commission Muqdad al-Shariefi said that the commission will open voter registration centers throughout Iraq, except Kirkuk and Kurdistan.

“The commission will open 863 registration centers throughout Iraq \, except Kirkuk and Kurdistan, where it will open 28 centers to register the displaced persons ; 12 in Duhuk, 5 in Sulaimaniya , 7 in Arbil and 4 in Kirkuk to update the voters registry,” al-Shariefi told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

“All voters have to go to the registration centers to make sure there is no mistake in their information,” he added.

He underlined that the commission have distributed 544 local supervisors since November 20, until the elections day.
