NINEWA/ Aswat al-Iraq: Police sources said here today that a State of Law provincial member was shot by an unknown gunmen north of Mosul.
In addition, the source told Aswat al-Iraq that a member in the municipal council of Ba'aj area, 150 km west of Mosul, was shot in a similar attack.
Both victims were severely wounded, as the source added.
Mosul, center of the province, lies 405 km north of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.
