KIRKUK/ Aswat al-Iraq: Police sources said here today that 12 wanted and suspects were arrested in different raids, south west Kirkuk.

The source told Aswat al-Iraq that the raids followed continued terrorist attacks in the city and kidnapping some people, one is Christian and the other Turkmen.

Kirkuk, center of the province, lies 280 km north east the capital, Baghdad.

It is one of the disputed areas between Baghdad and Arbil that witnessed continued terrorist attacks directed against the security forces and the civilians, alike.
